“Walk like an Egyptian!” If you are fascinated by history like Cleopatra or King Tutankhamun, then the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum is where you need to be! Be transported to another place and time by walking amongst mummies, sculptures, jewelry, pharaohs, and tombs. Learn about ancient rulers, religion, daily life and of course the mystical afterlife. With giant glass cases filled with artifacts like coffins, mummified objects, to everyday tools, jewelry worn by a high priest or lady of the house. Explore some unique pieces like ancient game boards, mirrors, and a marriage contract.

 Childrens Discovery Museum

With over 13 exhibits the Childrens Discovery Museum has something for everyone! Kids can enjoy exploring Bill’s Backyard where they can scale a tree, experience a dig pit, and learn why nature is important in our everyday lives. If digging isn’t what you’re looking for then you should skip on over to the WaterWays exhibit where kids can learn about scientific effects for force and water by seeing plastic balls fly and soar in the air.

The Winchester Mystery House – the house number 525 on Winchester Boulevard in San Jose, California, USA, is now an extravagant tourist attraction.

If you like a good mystery or scary story, then you need to put the Winchester Mystery House on your travel list. This house has over 100 rooms, 10,000 windows, 2,000 doors, 6 kitchens and much much more! Sarah Lockwood Pardee Winchester, an heiress to a large portion of the Winchester Arms fortune begin construction on this mystery house in 1886-1922. The workmanship in this mansion is something to see. With Tiffany-stained glass throughout the house, crown molding and doors leading to nowhere there are stories that these halls might be haunted! Lucky for you the Winchester Mystery house offers guided tours, and if you are feeling brave take on the walk with spirits tours!

The Tech Interactive Museum  

The Tech Interactive is a world class science and technology center in the heart of the Silicon Valley that welcomes tech lovers and those looking to learn about technology. With over 10 exhibits ranging from biology, Biotechnology, health, Engineering, earth and space, the family should have no problem staying entertained. There are real human specimens that allow you to explore. You can also visualize yourself in a live depiction your own SKELETON! If human anatomy isn’t your thing, then jet over to the robotics exhibit where you can build and customize your own robot. Did we mention you can go to space? That’s right, take a ride in a chair that’s like the NASA MMU (manned maneuvering unit).
