How do I purchase an ACE ticket?
You can purchase your round trip ticket on the app which is available for free download at:
The Apple iTunes Store or on Google Play or you can purchase a paper ticket. Tickets purchased through the app require activation prior to boarding the train which is done directly through the app (one way and round trip tickets are valid for seven days after purchasing, see app ticket information on the ACE website for additional information) — multiple tickets can be purchased and activated if more than one person travels on that day. Paper tickets can also be purchased at the following ACE stations: Stockton, Lathrop/Manteca, Tracy, Livermore, Pleasanton, and Fremont. For station hours of operation and locations CLICK HERE. You must validate your paper tickets prior to boarding the train. Ticket validation machines are available at each station.
What time should I arrive at my origination station?
Recommend arriving 15 to 20 minutes before the scheduled ACE train arrival to park and walk to the platform.
What time should I leave California's Great America if walking to back to the train station?
It is about a 20-minute walk from the main gate of the park to the station, it is recommended you leave the park at least 30 minutes before the train arrives at the Great America station.
Is there ACE train service on weekends?
Saturday Service begins on September 7, 2019 with two daily round trips. For schedule information CLICK HERE.
Do I have to ride the ACE train to receive the discount?
No. Anyone can take advantage of the discount provided through the San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission (SJRRC), however, there are many benefits to taking the train to the theme park including a relaxing and safe ride to and from the station, the ability to travel as a group, avoid the cost of parking, and after all the fun you'll have at the park, you can arrive to your origination station feeling refreshed with a quick nap on the ride back to your origination station!
Are ACE train tickets refundable?
No, tickets to ride the ACE train are non-refundable.
Where can I download the train schedule?
Is there a minimum age to ride ACE without an adult?
Yes, children under the age of 12 are not permitted to travel without an adult in attendance (12 and older may ride ACE without an adult).
What is the fare to ride ACE to the Great America station?
Depending on your origination station, round-trip fares range from $11.75 to $27.50 per adult, (1) one child 5 and under may ride ACE for free per paying adult. Discounted tickets are available for children ages 6 to 12 (with a ticketed adult), seniors and the disabled.
As a current ACE rider, can I use my monthly pass or 20-trip ticket to receive the discounted California’s Great America admission ticket?
Yes! Current passengers must have a monthly pass or 20-ticket to the Great America station or beyond to ride ACE to the park for this promotion or an additional ticket would need to be purchased.
Are there ADA accommodation?
Yes, platforms and cars are ADA compliant and include a service ramp for boarding and deboarding.
What comfort and amenities can I expect on the ACE train?
ACE trains feature free Wi-Fi, power receptacles, restrooms and dim-lit cars for relaxation.
Can I leave items on the train?

Is parking free at the stations?
Most stations offer free parking. However, the Pleasanton station may charge a fee during the Alameda County Fair or if a scheduled event is taking place. If parking at the Fremont Centerville Station, there may be a parking fee;nn please check with the City of Fremont or the Centerville Station.
How do I get to/from the Great America station to the front gates of California’s Great America?
Most guests will choose to walk which is approximately 20 minutes, other options are to use rideshare services like Uber or Lift at your own expense. For walking directions, visit: this LINK.
Can I bring a stroller on the ACE train?
Yes. California’s Great America also offers stroller rentals for a fee. Check out strollers in the morning, as supplies are limited.
