This coming Saturday celebrate Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with a full day of live entertainment, cultural demonstrations, and an eclectic mix of art-making experiences at San Jose Museum of Art!

Getting to The Museum:
Take ACE 101 or 103 to San Jose's Diridon Station. Hop on the free VTA DASH shuttle to downtown San Jose.
Schedule of Events:
11am–4:30pm: Art-making stations including decorating your own Calaveras de Azucar (sugar skulls) and Mariposas de Papel (paper butterflies).
12–3:30pm: Photo-op with roaming skeleton performers.
1:30–3:30pm: Ofrenda building demonstration by local artist Phyllis Carrasco.
2:30pm: Traditional Mexican folk dance performance by Los Lupeños de San José; performance followed by participatory dance.
All-day: See a traditional altar by artist Lissa Jones.
