Your Travel Begins with ACEÂ
ACE is a service that operates on a first come, first served basis without reserved seating. Depending on the frequency of travel, we offer various Ticket Types. Passengers are encouraged to purchase and activate their tickets before boarding the train. To conveniently purchase tickets for ACE, travelers can use the ACE Rail mTickets app.
You can obtain paper tickets from approved ACE ticket vendors and at many ACE stations such as Stockton Lathrop/Manteca, Tracy, Livermore (located at the LAVTA/Wheels Transit Center), Pleasanton, Fremont, Great America, and San Jose. To upgrade your paper ticket, please fill out the Ticket Upgrade Form. To learn about each station's hours, parking, and transit connections, please visit www.acerail.com/stations. If no ticket sales are available at your departure station, kindly contact Customer Service at 1-800-411-RAIL (7245) for assistance before boarding the train. It's important to note that all paper tickets need to be validated before boarding the train.

A one-way ticket is authorized for travel from a departure station to a destination for a single trip.

Passenger with Disability Discount
Passengers who provide documentation of a qualified disability may be eligible for the Passenger with Disability Discount.
Children Discount
Children aged 5 and under can travel for free when accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets for children between 6-12 years old can be purchased at up to a 50% discount.
Medicare Card Holders
When buying a ticket, a copy of a Medicare Card and a photo identification need to be presented.
Connecting Transit Reduced Fare ID Card
To be eligible for the discount, passengers need to present their original Connecting Transit reduced fare ID card as proof.
Senior DiscountÂ
People aged 65 and older are eligible for the discount. To receive the discount, an original valid photo ID needs to be presented during the purchase at station sales and kept available upon request while onboard the train.
Community Assistance Program (CAP)
ACE is committed to serving a diverse population of riders by lowering barriers such as costs. The CAP program offers an affordable way to travel between home and work, school, or shopping along the ACE corridor. How to Apply
Apply to Receive Travel Discounts Based on Eligibility on the ACE Mobile App
If you believe you are eligible to receive a discount on your travel as a senior, Connecting Transit Reduced Fare ID Card holders, Medicare recipient, or due to a disability that has been approved through the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), you must submit your application to enroll and, once approved, you can save on your future ACE rides.

College discounts are only applicable to participating colleges in the ACE College Pilot Discount Program. Participating colleges sell discount tickets directly from the college institution. The college discount is not available through the ACE mobile ticketing app.
