ACE has seen an increase of over 100,000 riders from 2017 to 2018, which is one of the largest passenger growth of any rail system in California. Due to that, there have been some strains put on the ACE WiFi system.

To address and resolve the issue, ACE is upgrading antennas for the system that we use, as well as working with our carriers to add additional lines of service to address the capacity constraints. Longer-term, ACE is looking at options to enhance the entire system, including adding additional service carriers or upgrading the entire system.
