Emergency Ride Program

Getting Home in an Emergency

As commute distances become increasingly longer, a major concern of transit riders is being stranded in the case of rare and unexpected emergencies. Please keep in mind that this program is for emergencies only, and is available on limited repeated use for 20-trip and monthly ticket holders only. The Emergency Ride Program is available between the hours of 6:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

An ACE passenger illness, the illness or accident of an immediate family member, or a home emergency such as fire or theft are recognized as emergencies. Issues not recognized as emergencies are working late, a prearranged dental or doctor's appointment, or a child's school event.

When contacted at 800-411-RAIL, ACE will provide emergency ride options on a case-by-case basis. These options can include alternate trains, buses, shuttles, or taxi. Under the Emergency Ride Program, eligible passengers will be provided a ride from their destination station back to their station of origination.
