Enroll in ACE's Call Alert system for major service disruptions. Major events that would initiate the call system include: derailments, trespasser strikes, track blockage, major weather disruptions, bus bridges, fires, earthquakes, or other delays of 30 minutes or longer.
There are two phone lists, one AM list which will cover trains from 4:00 am to 12:00 pm, and one PM list which will cover trains from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm or later. Only directly accessible phone numbers will work; if the number dialed requires operator intervention or an extension dialed, the system will not work.
To sign up for the ACE Call Alert system, send an email to ACE Call Alerts
and provide the following:
- First name
- Last name
- Phone number (with area code)
- If you wish to be on the AM or PM list, or both
Once received, your phone number will be processed for the system within 24 hours. All phone numbers and names are treated confidentially and will not be used for any other purpose than ACE announcements.
*When you click on the "ACE Call Alerts" prompt listed above or below, a blank email will pop up with the email address and subject line already filled in for you. If any of the pre-filled information is modified in any way, your request may not be processed due to a SPAM filter that is being used. If you would like to be removed from the alerting system, remember that there are TWO separate alerting systems. Please provide the proper corresponding information to be removed. For example, ACE Email Alerts are for text-based messaging which required an email address at the time that you signed up. ACE Call Alerts are telephone-based messages which required a name and telephone number at the time you signed up. If the proper information isn’t provided your request for removal may not be processed.
If you wish to be removed from either system, or for additional questions, send an email to ACE Alerts
or call Customer Service at 1-800-411-RAIL.
