Fares, connections, and schedules are subject to change without notice. No replacements or refunds for missing, damaged, or stolen tickets. All passengers must hold a validated ticket to ride the ACE trains or ACE/AMTRAK Buses.
Ticket Validation
Since the Altamont Commuter Express is a barrier-free system, riders must validate their tickets before boarding. There are two ways of doing this depending on the type of ticket you're using:
If you're using a one-way, round-trip or twenty trip ticket, you MUST validate the ticket in a Ticket Validator before boarding. These machines are easy to use and are available at each boarding platform.
If you're using a monthly pass, the procedure is even easier: simply sign the back, and you're set for the month! After boarding the train, be sure to display your valid ticket in a plastic sleeve (ACE provides these to passengers). Train attendants and Fare Inspectors check the tickets for validation as they greet the passengers between stations.
Fare Chart
To use the Fare chart select origin and destination stations. Use the chart to determine the ticket price based on destinations.
